On today's episode of "Sleep On It," brought to you by Aeroflow Sleep, Meagan is joined by Emma Cooksey.
Emma has a complicated history with sleep apnea. At the age of 30, after more than a decade of unexplained health problems, she was diagnosed with obstructive sleep apnea. She felt alone and isolated, navigating life with her sleep disorder and adjusting to PAP therapy without much guidance.
Now, she’s Aeroflow Sleep’s Patient Advocacy Expert, a Director of the Board at Project Sleep, and the host of her own podcast, “Sleep Apnea Stories.”
Emma really loves raising awareness about sleep apnea and its treatment options, and together, we’ll explore the in’s and out’s of what you yourself may be experiencing, by answering: What Is Sleep Apnea?
